About Us

Welcome to Vic Bennett Motors Ltd.  A third generation, family owned and operated Chevrolet dealership.

Bennett Chevrolet was founded in 1946 by our grandfather, Vic Bennett Sr.  We began in a 14,000 square foot building on the Main Street of Carleton Place with a small showroom, 7 bay garage, collision centre and 18 employees.  By 1976 we had outgrown our building so a new dealership was built on Townline Road.

We currently reside in our brand new, 28,000 square foot, state of the art facility at 375 McNeely Avenue and have approximately 50 employees.  We are very proud of the fact that through the hard work and dedication of our employees we have earned numerous awards over the years, including General Motors prestigious Triple Crown award for the last 3 years running.  The Triple Crown is presented to a select few GM dealerships and is based on sales volume as well as sales and service customer satisfaction.
